KME Group are pleased to announce they have acquired the machinery and intellectual property rights providing them with the rights to the Proteus Facade System, which was previously produced and sold by AME Facades Engineering limited.

 

This popular facade system will continue to be produced in Skelmersdale but will now be sold by KME Architectural Solutions - a division of KME Yorkshire limited, located in Kirkby, Liverpool.

 

KME Group is Europe's largest fabricator of copper and copper alloy products, with extensive interests in Architectural products under the TECU and Arkita brands. The Group has a turnover of approximately £3billion and employs 6,500 people in Europe and China and, in total, fabricates over half million tonnes a year of copper based products a year.

 

The acquisition and development of the KME Proteus system will allow the Group to strengthen their position in the markets for both internal and external cladding systems in a variety of finishes including the full range of copper based products already produced by the Group.
